I am Sarah Jane.
A highly experienced designer and creative project manager - I am passionate and highly organised, with a creative flair and an eye for detail. With 15 years of design studio experience, I have worked in a variety of roles from project management, concept and character development, illustration, photography art direction, image retouching, branding and asset creation for both print and web.

A little more about my background;
I've been design lead at DK (part of Penguin Random House) creating beautiful books with an educational focus as part of a wonderful team.

Previously, I have been involved in many exciting projects including:

Project managed multiple agencies/packagers illustrators and designers to create internationally sold educational books
Created retail campaigns and online assets for the global sports team; Liverpool FC
Designed and delivered environmental graphics for numerous spaces
Written and illustrated children’s books
Created stationery ranges picked up for sale by John Lewis, The Range and Sainsbury's
Designed backgrounds and assets for ‘Milo’ the award-winning animated TV Show

In 2019, I took a career break to travel. This trip ended abruptly due to the pandemic. Upon returning to the UK, I started a small business, offering freelance design and Large scale hand-painted murals. I enjoy painting, printing and crafty things… some of which you can purchase in my paint shop - coming soon!
